Sharon Hills Burn 2014 - Jerry, David, and Dana

David Read (middle) with former Legacy staff Jerry Friends (L) and Dana Wright (R) at Sharon Hills Preserve for a prescribed burn.

David has been volunteering since 2009 when he and his wife purchased a property with a conservation easement held by Legacy. He has spent the last 13 years stewarding and ecologically improving his own conservation easement property, as well as, donating over 400 hours of his time as a stewardship committee member, photomonitor, and all-around stewardship helper.

Whether it’s participating in a preserve prescribed burn, building an office shed, or allowing Legacy to host an event on his property, David is always willing to help!

We’re so fortunate to have him as part of the stewardship team. Thank you, David!
