Legacy Land Conservancy’s Stewardship Program provides the care our lands need to stay protected and vibrant ecosystems. Our mostly-volunteer program manages 308 acres of preserve properties for ecosystem health and accessibility to the public, and monitors over 6000 acres of conservation agreement private properties to ensure the terms of the agreement are being upheld.
Upcoming Projects
Look for an official opening of our newest preserve in 2019. Anthony and Rose Shatter Family Preserve in Salem Township echoes the mature beauty of our Creekshead Preserve and is just 1/4 mile to the south on the south west corner of Curtis Road and Brookview Road.
Recent Projects
Visit our Lloyd and Mabel Johnson Preserve to see our fledgling prairie. Planted in the spring of 2017, the native prairie plants are just starting to assert themselves.
