Woodland Preserve

Woodland Preserve

Legacy Land Conservancy accepted the gift of this 13-acre preserve in 2002. Located 10 miles north of Ann Arbor, the preserve is a small meadow and woodlot with Brookwater and Boyden Creeks meeting in the woodland. This preserve is unusual in that the donor stipulated there to be no management of the preserve. This preserve does not have a trail system. Visit the preserve to observe the unimpeded succession of land.

To visit:

Address – 3777 W Joy Road, Ann Arbor MI (just west of Jennings Road). Look for the Woodland Preserve sign and enter the preserve near the sign.
