Jeffrey Post, Legacy Land Conservancy’s Volunteer of the Year

At the event, Legacy announced Jeffrey Post as our 2014 Volunteer of the Year! Jeffrey has volunteered for the past two years on Legacy’s Marketing Committee, has helped host cultivation events, brought new people to the Legacy family and has been instrumental in developing public relations materials.  We here at Legacy would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Jeffrey for his enthusiasm, creativity and commitment to our mission.

He didn’t act alone- last year, 89 volunteers provided over 4000 hours of service to Legacy.  That’s the equivalent of two full time staff members! Since 2011, the total number of volunteer hours has doubled. Our volunteers do essential work, ranging from office support to photo monitoring to leading work days.  In addition, we have marketing experts, attorneys, landscape architects and other skilled professionals who donate their expertise to us.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our volunteers.  Your time and dedication mean so much to us, and we look forward to another productive year.
