Volunteer Spotlight: Charity Steere
Charity is a passionate conservation champion who has focused her preservation efforts in and around the Waterloo Area most of her life. She began volunteering her time with Legacy in 2003 when Legacy (formally Washtenaw Land Trust) officially incorporated the Waterloo Land Conservancy Trust. Since then, she has logged over 1250 volunteer hours.

Sandy Sorini Elser is an experienced real estate attorney and devoted supporter of Legacy’s mission. Sandy retired from Bodman Law in 2019, but keeps very busy volunteering with Legacy to help with multiple acquisition projects.
