The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in partnership with Midwest American Mycology Information (MAMI), the Institute for Sustainable Living, Art & Natural Design (ISLAND), and the Michigan Farmers Market Association (MIFMA), has developed a program to train and certify commercial wild mushroom foragers.  Those who would like to learn without gaining official certification may also attend for a reduced rate.
