Limited-Edition ‘Legacy’ Wine Launched

Ann Arbor, MI and Jackson, MI – Sandhill Crane Vineyards has launched a brand-new, limited-edition wine to benefit the Legacy Land Conservancy (formerly Washtenaw Land Trust).

The wine, named “Legacy” in honor of the Conservancy, is a slightly fruity dry white blend of locally grown chardonnay and vignoles grapes. Legacy was developed in honor of the Legacy Land Conservancy, dedicated since 1971 to protecting the forests, fields, wetlands, and rivers of southern Michigan, where the Sandhill Crane Vineyards calls home. Each purchase of Legacy will help benefit the Legacy Land Conservancy – protecting local nature and farmland, today and forever.

The new wine was introduced at the “Legacy of Trust” gala held on March 19th at Cobblestone Farm in Ann Arbor. The gala celebrated the Conservancy’s on-going commitment to land protection and stewardship. The event also marked the official unveiling of the Conservancy’s new name.
