Welcome, 2021 Stewardship Crew!

Legacy is excited to welcome our 2021 summer Stewardship Crew. We are looking forward to working with them!

Danielle Wyman

Danielle was born and raised in a small town in Maine. She gained a passion for the natural world from a young age through her surfing, snowboarding, and rock climbing adventures. She earned a degree in Ecology and Environmental science with a concentration in forest ecology and made her way to Michigan soon after. Prior to joining Legacy, Danielle worked on projects investigating species-habitat interactions with various research-based jobs. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys drawing, practicing yoga, and playing with her cats, Oliver and Alfredo, and her albino corn snake, Quinoa.

Thomas Huval

Born right outside New Orleans, Thomas has spent a majority of his 25 years a Louisiana resident. His love of the outdoors was fostered through hunting, fishing, and as a Boy Scout, where he ultimately gained the rank of Eagle Scout. That love led him to Louisiana State University to receive a bachelor’s in Natural Resource Ecology and Management concentrating in Conservation Biology. In the 7 months prior to joining Legacy, he worked for the National Park Service in Natchitoches, LA preserving historic structures and property. When he’s not working, he can be found hiking, consuming books and movies, and dancing to any and all music.
