Charity is a passionate conservation champion who has focused her preservation efforts in and around the Waterloo Area most of her life. She began volunteering her time with Legacy in 2003 when Legacy (formally Washtenaw Land Trust) officially incorporated the Waterloo Land Conservancy Trust.
