2025 Accomplishments

Thanks to our 2025 Business Sponsors, we made significant progress in improving preserve accessibility, restoration, and visitor experience.

• Installed four new informational kiosks at Beckwith, Johnson, and Iron Creek Preserves.
• Completed the Iron Creek Preserve bridge, a key piece of infrastructure finished just in time for the preserve’s opening
• Expanded and improved trail networks
• Created updated trail maps

Spotlight: Iron Creek Preserve

With support from our Business Sponsors, and the hundreds of hours logged by our stewardship team and volunteers, Iron Creek opened this summer as a safe, welcoming place for the public to explore. Their investment helped transform the land into an inviting space for education and community engagement. And it boosted our habitat restoration efforts, making room for native plants and wildlife to thrive.

Growing Community Connections

Business Sponsor support also allowed us to expand programming and experiences across our preserves that build stronger community ties and spark lifelong connections to land conservation, including:

• A new mothing event at Iron Creek and Johnson Preserves
• A four-part history hike series at Iron Creek Preserve
• Additional preserve activities encouraging families, students, and nature-lovers to get outside
