2025 has proven to be a wild and unpredictable year. Changes at the federal level have left many of us– Legacy included–feeling a little like we’re swimming up river, helpless against the current.

As we have met with and spoken to supporters in the last year, we’ve heard a common refrain: “I know my gift is only a small drop in the bucket, but I’m happy to help.”

Legacy is made up of hundreds of those drops–generous, community-minded people dedicated to protecting the land and water we all rely on.

Every gift you give to Legacy–whether that be your time, talent, or treasure–adds up. And together we create our own powerful river of local action and community. By supporting our mission, you’re helping build something bigger than any one of us could do alone.

There is truly no such thing as a “too small” gift. We rely on gifts less than $100 to help fill our bucket and protect the places we love. In truth, those small drops are significant when flowing together!

For the last several years we’ve shifted our Giving Tuesday focus to reflect one of our most closely-held values: Gratitude. It can’t be overstated how grateful we are at Legacy for each and every “drop” that helps us achieve our mission.
