As the fundraising season rolls in and nonprofits around the country celebrate “Giving Tuesday,” the staff here at Legacy has chosen to celebrate this day a little differently over the last several years.
We believe strongly in “Gratitude Tuesday” – a day set aside to reflect and acknowledge all of the hard work and support our community pours into safeguarding southern Michigan’s land and water. We know first hand that the farmland, prairies, forests, and rivers we protect is a directly result of the passion of our volunteers, donors, community advocates, and partners.
Whether you’re sharing a blog post on social media, donating, helping to clear invasive species on our preserves, or lending your expertise pro-bono, you’re working shoulder-to-shoulder with us to protect our natural world. For that we are so grateful!
Thank you – every single one of you has made a difference in pursuing our mission to support thriving, diverse, and resilient communities, forever. Happy #GratitudeTuesday!
