Legacy Physical Office Re-Opens with Limited Hours, New Procedures in Place

As the governor continues to lift Safer at Home restrictions, and in accordance with the MI Start Safe Plan, beginning the week of June 15th the Legacy Land Conservancy physical office is open with limited hours and new safety procedures in place.

The Legacy office will be open Tuesday through Fridays and staffed from 10 to 3 pm. The main doors will be unlocked during this time allowing access to the lobby. The interior door to the main office will be kept closed and locked. Once inside the lobby, visitors must knock, ring a bell, or call to alert staff they are present. All visitors will be asked to wear a mask and observe our in-office safety protocols. A copy of our Procedures For Opening document is available and will be posted in the lobby.

Although the physical office is now open, Legacy is embracing the culture of remote work to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 or other viruses and illnesses.  All staff, regardless of regular or part-time status is encouraged to work remotely. To meet with a specific staff member at the office, arranging an appointment is suggested. Appointments can be made by contacting the staff member directly, or by calling the main office line {734-302-5263}.

The health and safety of Legacy staff, volunteers, and the public remains our priority. Legacy has put in place specific procedures to help us all take this next step safely, together. As the situation continues to evolve, Legacy will adapt our procedures as needed. Please contact us with any questions at 734-302-5263 or info@legacylandconservancy.org.
