Join Neal Billetdeaux and Robert Ayotte from Michigan Botanical Club for an introduction to winter features of trees, shrubs, and vines. There will be a focus on buds, bud scars, bark, and fruit with special attention to “lines of dehiscence” (how the seed is released). This is a joint field trip with the Stewardship Network and Michigan Botanical Club. Please dress for the weather.
