Catch Them While You Can – Herbaceous Invasives
The Stewardship Network is hosting this event at Legacy’s Reichert Preserve.
Participants will learn about the effects of invasive species in southern Michigan, the definition of invasive species and an introduction to control methods. Identification will include herbaceous species with a special focus on newer invaders. David Mindell from PlantWise – a business dedicated to creating, restoring, and interpreting native ecosystems and plant communities throughout Michigan and Ohio will lead the workshop.
