Over pastries and coffee, we’ll give new volunteers a chance to see how they can join the Legacy family and give our current volunteers an update on what to expect during this year’s volunteering season. Bring your questions and volunteering ideas! We want volunteers to choose their own adventure.
Our volunteers are a critical part of Legacy’s work! From photo monitoring our more than 100 conservation easements, to serving on committees, removing invasive species and building board walks on our preserves – we rely on volunteers to accomplish our goals. Safeguarding southern Michigan’s land and water is a community-driven effort, and we wouldn’t have 10,000 acres of protected land without our talented, hardworking volunteers.
