Over bagels and coffee, we’ll give new volunteers a chance to see how they can join the Legacy family and give our current volunteers an update on what to expect during this year’s volunteering season.
Our volunteers are a critical part of Legacy’s work! From photo monitoring our more than 100 conservation easements, to serving on committees, removing invasive species and building board walks on our preserves – we rely on volunteers to accomplish our goals. Safeguarding southern Michigan’s land and water is a community-driven effort, and we wouldn’t have 10,000 acres of protected land without our talented, hardworking volunteers.
