Join us on Saturday, April 13 from 10am-12pm for coffee, pastries, conversation, and the opportunity to learn about Soil Health with Dr. John Freeland, an environmental scientist with a PhD in Soil Science. Attendees will also receive a Legacy cap or beanie!

Dr. Freeland will introduce some of the basics of soil science and how differences in soil formation and soil components lead to differences in land use and the plants that are present on the land. You will also learn about helpful soil resources that are available to landowners like yourself, indicators of good and bad soil health, and get to see live simulations that demonstrate the importance of proper soil health!
