Huron River Watershed Council – Bioreserve Natural Areas Assessment Program

May 9, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Help out the Huron River while enjoying the wildlife of local natural areas! Our partners at the Huron River Watershed Council are looking for volunteers to conduct rapid ecological assessments of grasslands, forests, wetlands, and aquatic habitats throughout the spring, summer, and fall. All levels of experience are welcome to attend a program introduction and training session on May 9, 2015 from 10:00am to 4:00pm at Independence Lake County Park in Whitmore Lake.

While all levels of experience are welcome, HRWC is also looking for “plant people,” who are experienced in plant identification. These “plant people” do not need to attend the introduction and training session, but are more than welcome to it.
