Volunteer Workday 4/25/26: Remove Garlic Mustard at Sharon Hills Preserve

Join Legacy Land Conservancy for a Sharon Hills Preserve workday on April 25 and help pull garlic mustard!

Volunteers will be hand-pulling garlic mustard, an invasive species found in Michigan. Plant material will be put in garbage bags for disposal so the plants don’t re-establish themselves.

• Dress for the weather and in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
• Wear a long sleeve shirt, pants, and closed toe shoes, regardless of the temperature. It will help
  protect from poison ivy, ticks, and getting scratched up while working outside.
• Bring a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen.

Legacy will provide tools and work gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own.
