At Legacy Land Conservancy, we believe the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. We cannot do this work alone and choose to collaborate creatively with partners—individuals, organizations, and communities—whenever possible.

A Network to Lean On

Legacy proudly participates in a large network of organizations working to protect land and water in southern Michigan.

We engage in regional discussions with local groups like The Stewardship Network’s Grand River-Raisin Conservation Community and Huron-Arbor Cluster.

We provide conservation resources to the community through the Washtenaw County Conservation Collective.

We share our expertise with the Land Trust Alliance as presenters and panelists during their national annual conference known as Rally.

Supporting Our Partners

We help the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission and the City of Ann Arbor Greenbelt Program monitor their protected lands every year, helping to ensure they remain conserved for generations to come.

Whether you are a Washtenaw County or Greenbelt conservation easement landowner and Legacy monitors your property or an organization looking for extra support monitoring your easements, our team is happy to discuss ways Legacy can help.

Partners

We are extremely grateful for all those who help make our work possible. Land conservation depends on the support of private landowners, fellow nonprofits, government entities, or our business community.
