Volunteer Workday 11/14/2026: Remove Buckthorn at Beckwith Preserve

Join Legacy Land Conservancy for an Iron Creek Preserve workday on November 14 and help remove invasive species like buckthorn and autumn-olive.
Beckwith Nature Preserve is home to towering pines with Portage Creek cutting through the property. Trails on the preserve connect to local city trails and proper stewardship will allow for its beauty to be enjoyed by all.
REGISTER- Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
- Wear a long sleeve shirt, pants, and closed toe shoes, regardless of the temperature to protect from poison ivy and ticks.
- Please bring a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen.
Legacy will provide tools and work gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own!
