Diana Kern
Diana brings over 25 years of executive leadership experience and a lifelong love of nature to her role as Executive Director. Prior to joining Legacy in 2019, Diana spent 17 years with McKinley Companies before transitioning to the nonprofit sector. She served as Vice President at NEW (Nonprofit Enterprise at Work) for a decade and held executive and philanthropic leadership roles at Eversight. She currently serves on the Board of The Ark and leads The Ann Arbor Host Lions as President.
A lifelong Michigander, Diana grew up surrounded by farmland and open spaces—an experience that continues to inspire her. When she’s not advocating for land conservation, you’ll find her birdwatching, enjoying live music at The Ark, or consulting with fellow nonprofit leaders.
