Happy Thanksgiving!

From the Legacy Land Conservancy family to yours – Happy Thanksgiving! As an organization we are most thankful for you, our wonderful supporters. We would like to observe the Thanksgiving holiday by sharing with you what each of us are thankful for in our personal lives.  Wishing you all the best for the holiday.

Erika’s furry friends Alvin and Arrow

Erika – I’m grateful for my amazing kids and lifelong friends that bring me joy (and my kittens too); local natural areas where I can visit to soothe my soul; and fresh clean rivers to paddle on to just have fun.

Dana – My couch looks toward a picture window in sight of our winter bird feeder. Working from home on snowy days in recent past allowed some quality time watching the birds coming and going from my mobile workstation (laptop at the couch). I am thankful for the cheerful visitors politely taking turns at the feeder while chirping light into a gray day.

Scott – I’m thankful for easy access to nature and fresh, healthy foods.

Allene – I’m grateful for daily opportunities to teach patience, curiosity, and reverence for Life (alongside, you know, how to use a spoon).

Ann – I am grateful for Climate Emergency workers worldwide.

Susan – I’m thankful for my family! I’ve lived far away for 6 years and being back home in Michigan with them has been so fun and fulfilling already!
