  1. Hello,
Back in the 1960s, I lived in Ann Arbor when I was a student at the high school (before it was called Pioneer High), and at U of M. During the autumn, I seem to remember we often went out to a set of swamps and ponds that I thought were east of town, to watch flocks of Canada Geese stopping off on their way south for the winter. Can you tell me where that place might have been? Looking on Google maps at the new surround of Ann Arbor, I don’t spot any likely places — I had the impression there was a state wildlife area, or some such, fairly close to the old boundaries of the town, where the geese used to congregate, and one could drive around from pond to pond, and park and watch them. Thanks! — Judy
