Attention Landowners: Did you attend a general landowner information meeting and leave with more questions than answers? Let us help you with that! Legacy Land Conservancy, Raisin Valley Land Trust, River Raisin Watershed Council, and the Stewardship Network are hosting a series of informal coffee hours geared toward answering additional questions about land preservation, and how current programs apply to your specific property. Representatives will be on hand to discuss how you can protect your land through a conservation easement. Securing a conservation easement will ensure essential lands are protected for generations to come, while leaving the land in private ownership and on the tax rolls. Each piece of land has its own unique story. Come and tell us about it, and together we’ll work to ensure your legacy is preserved for generations to come!
